Elbow strikes, hiji, enpi, 肘 - Ninjutsu

Elbow strikes (מרפקים), are common in many Martial arts that involve striking, Ninjutsu and Muai thai included. An elbow strike is usually applied in close range and due to the small impact surface and the relative toughness of the elbow causes damage. An elbow strike to the face can cut the skin and if applied to the chin can even cause the opponent to loose consciousness.
